The science behind a healthy brain

The brain is one of the most complex structures in the known universe. This incredibly intricate system of neurological pathways communicates with the rest of your body; enabling you to do everything from thinking and speaking, to moving and feeling.

At Sons, we believe that it makes complete sense to nurture this system, so that you can reach your full potential. Our Brain Health Supplement has been formulated with a unique combination of ingredients that improve the way your brain performs.

Understanding your
central nervous system

Your central nervous system is most easily defined as the brain and the spinal cord. However, the impact of these two body parts is far from simple. The central nervous system communicates with the rest of your body and coordinates almost all of your bodily activity - including your mood, temperature and physical sensations. Essentially, every action you take is a result of your brain and spinal cord working effectively as one cohesive system.

Sons Brain Health
supplement

Our Brain Health Supplement belongs to a group of substances that are known as nootropics, which can help to improve your cognitive performance.

Our unique formulation of nine natural compounds, which all play specific roles in your brain, can help to stimulate creative thinking, improve your mood and enhance your focus.

What does Sons brain health supplement do?

Your brain needs a lot of blood and oxygen to perform properly - in fact, around 15% of your blood and oxygen is used by the brain, despite it only amounting to 3% of your overall body weight. Our nootropic supplement improves circulation within the brain, which allows for more efficient neurological signals. They are also highly nutritious, providing your brain with the specific vitamins and minerals it needs to thrive.

Lion’s Mane

Lion’s mane, also known as yamabushitake or Hericium erinaceus, is a type of mushroom used in Asian and Indian medicine and cooking.
What does it do?

There is little evidence about the bioactive compounds in Lion’s mane. Two compounds extracted from Lion’s Mane, hericenones and erinacines, may possess neurotrophic properties, meaning they support the growth and survival of neurons (brain cells).

Korean Ginseng

Ginseng is the root of a plant that has been used widely in Chinese medicine. It comes in a number of different forms depending on where or how long it is grown.
What does it do?

Some evidence shows that the active compounds in ginseng may improve immune responses in humans and help to lower blood sugar. A number of studies have shown that Ginseng can have very quick effects on calmness, improving mental fatigue and enhanced performance in mentally-demanding tasks

Thiamine

Thiamine is also known as vitamin B1 and is used for a wide range of bodily processes. It can be found in whole grains foods and legumes such as peas, beans and lentils.

Ashwaghanda has been used widely in Ayurvedic medicine. Some evidence shows that chemicals it contains called withanolides may protect brain cells from oxidative stress, which can be beneficial for long-term brain health

Choline

Choline is an essential nutrient that can be made in small amounts by your body, but which mostly needs to be obtained from the diet.
What does it do?

Choline is used by your body to produce a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which is an important neurotransmitter in the brain involved in memory, attention and motor function.

Guarana

Guarana is a plant typically native to the Amazon basin region, particularly in Brazil. The seeds/fruit are often used as nutritional supplements.
